Title 2

The blog title comes from a conversation I had with Kristi as she began her battle with Leukemia. The very clear picture of her ready to fight, being surrounded by legions of angels being led by her mother and Mike's mom on heaven's side and by an army of Earthly angels here on our side came to mind. We are ready to fight, whatever it takes!

Matthew 26:53

Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

The background picture represents how heaven and earth come together to create the most amazing things!

Kristi's FaceBook posts from her first week in the hospital:

November 1 -
My mother was and is an amazing lady! I have always wished that I could fill her shoes, I have always smiled and been so proud when people said that I was just like my mom. ...I never intended though to take it this far. People have been asking about my condition. Preliminary results seem to be pointing to leukemia. Still have to do a bone marrow test on Monday so any of my fasting friends who need something to fast for, our family would be grateful if you would fast for us tomorrow, any of my prayer warriors we need all of the prayers that we can get! I will be in the hospital in Baltimore at least through Tuesday. Contemplating how I am going to demolish this thing!

The news in the hallway is that they are ready to give this new lady Smith her bone marrow test any volunteers to take my place?  Speak now or forever hold your peace!

Thank you guys for checking in! Ok, so today my bum bum hurts but the bone marrow test has been done, we won't know the results for a couple of days but the picc line has been put in and when they know what strain and my genetics they will pick their poison. I am still in great spirits I have such great friends and family support! The hospital staff is AMAZING they are all angels! Don't you worry, with God on our side we got this! Please continue to pray for our family!

November 5 -
Ok here is the update. It is Acute myeloid leukemia I will be staring chemo either tonight or first thing in the morning depending on the pharmacy I am told. It will be given through an IV for 7 days with a second chemical for the first 3 days. It isn't going to be fun but it's ok! My kids and sweet husband and family and friends are worth it! Still asking for prayers and believing in miracles faith is very powerful!
